Obituary for Thomas "T.J." Hocking

Thomas Jonah “T.J. “ Hocking, 22 of Oglesby died at 8:08 a.m. December 10, 2018 in his home as a result of injuries sustained from a motorcycle accident Earlier this year and from MRSA.

Funeral services will be 5:30 p.m. Saturday in the Oglesby Union Church. Pastor Ryan Mustered, uncle of T.J. will officiate. Visitation will be 2:30 p.m. until time of services Saturday in the church.

T.J. was born November 8, 1996 in Peru to Thomas and Renee (Mustered) Hocking.

He was an apprentice lineman for IBEW local 51. T.J. loved spending time with his family and friends. He loved hunting, fishing, snowmobiling and riding his motorcycle.

T.J. was a hard worker who was deeply loved by his family and friends. He will be dearly missed by all.

He is survived by his father Tom (Tracy) Hocking of LaSalle, his mother Renee (Rich Baldridge) Mustered of Oglesby, 3 brothers; Will Hocking of Oglesby and Keegan and Trevor Samolinski both of LaSalle, his paternal grandparents Tom and Pat Hocking of Oglesby, his maternal grandmother Karen (Dick) Rieman of Port Orange, FL, uncle Dennis (Laura Marzetta) of Peru, Aunt Sally (Jim) Taliani of LaSalle, Aunt Rhonda (Scot) Hackler of Deer Park, uncles Ryan (Malinda) Mustered of Watseka and Rocky Mustered of Port Orange, FL and cousins.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to the family for a future memorial for T.J.
